Desktop Support Technicians provide first-level or end-user/customer telephone support for computer systems, which may include software, hardware or telecommunication systems. They may also work in a department of a large business to provide direct customer support on hardware or software issues. Our Program prepares you well for this dynamic, growing career field, including the IT certification most demanded by employers, CompTIA A+.
All course books, exam preparation software and two A+ exam vouchers are included in the Program. Three Microsoft E-Learning courses are also provided to support supplemental learning objectives on Microsoft applications support. Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED or a T.A.B.E. test with a result of at least 9th Grade Level. Desktop Support Technician runs 150 clock hours over 30 training days, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..
